There being but only one ferry going to and from Iceland on a yearly basis it can be tough and expensive visiting this country with excess baggage such as a caravan. But due to high popularity of pretty luxurious caravans among locals before the economic crash in 2008 there are remarkably many places able to accommodate caravans and serve both water and electricity and other needed services.

Team Total Iceland can recommend this type of trip in Iceland as long as people are driving a fairly powerful vehicle and stay on the “good” roads crossing our country. It can make all the difference to be able to jump into some warmth on a chilly summer night and as is well known abroad people make friends very quickly in the the circle of caravan owners.

Total Iceland is able to offer two caravans for rent over the summertime. Both are fairly new and in perfect shape and prices very decent. Write for more info and pics if interested.
