Want some great date in Reykjavik, Iceland?
August the 23rd 2014. That is a date you might want to bookmark if you find yourself anywhere in or near Reykjavik city in Iceland.
Although downtown Reykjavik these days is jam-packed with people from morning to night those are 99 per cent foreign tourists buying souvenirs and coffee. On the 23rd of August that percentage will change drastically when thousands upon thousands of locals celebrate Reykjavik Cultural Night.
In fact, it is more of a Cultural Day since the downtown area will host hundreds of events big and large on various streets. Locals will open their doors to strangers and even offer some refreshments, artists will do their thing in any which way while musicians will take over squares and play their heart out. All in all a nice party.
