Team Total Iceland has been a critic of the massive marketing of Iceland abroad as we believe this unique country needs no marketing. Do the Pyramids of Egypt need aggressive marketing? Well, Iceland is far more stunning than the Pyramids. Besides, Iceland does not need more tourists. Our natural pearls are being slowly but surely ruined by mass-tourism as we speak and sometime in the future tourism here cannot be sustainable. Beauty is a finite resource.
Anyway, it is kinda refreshing that this fair land inspires folks to do more than just Ahhh and Ohhh.
