The foreign music press has more often than once written about the tremendous energy coming from the tiny island of Iceland in the form of good music. It is true. There is less activity in the now famous ongoing Holuhraun volcano than takes place within the local music scene.
Since a lot of great newcomers get overlooked both locally and abroad we felt it would be a good idea to fire things up a bit by rolling out some new or newish music from Iceland that may help you decide whether you need to visit this place. So here goes:
