You´ve been excited about your trip to Iceland for months on end. Only to wake up to raging blizzards day after day once here and no chance of tours or any sightseeing at all.
We hate to say we told you so. But we did.
Raging blizzards, closed roads and winds so hard you´ll be lucky to cross a street without incident. Which is what is in store for folks staying in Iceland today and the next few days.
Flights have been grounded. Roads into the capital are mostly closed and no one in their right mind is offering tours. Even sightseeing Reykjavik will be an ordeal and pleasurable as a week-long constipation.
Our condolences to all.
