Prepare for a uncomfortable ride aboard Icelandair flights if you happen to get the seats in the very last rows. PIC 1541

Expecting a joyful and stress-free flight into Iceland? Then by no account get stuck in seats in the very last row on-board any Icelandair flight. Not only do you have to make-do with the company of your fellow passengers waiting for the rear toilet but you also cannot recline your seat.

A member of Team Total Iceland has been the lucky customer of seats in the last row on-board an Icelandair flight on more than one occasion. While we are friendly people not given to making trouble and in excellent health we never did mind having non-reclining seats.

But we know a number of people, especially older people, having to sit there even for a short three to four hour flights and complaining of back pains for hours and even days afterwards.

Should you suffer from backache or pains fight tooth and nail before you have to sit down in the very last row.
